CAF Confederation Cup: AS FAR Rabat gives Morocco a 2-for-2, while Côte d’Ivoire comes away empty-handed

AS FAR Rabat qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup group stage with a 2-1 win over CO Korhogo in the second preliminary round second leg. Youssef El Fahli scored from the penalty spot in the sixth minute, and after Korhogo equalized in the 54th, Anas Bach netted the decisive goal in the 83rd. Along with MAS Fès’s earlier Champions League qualification, the result gave Morocco a perfect two-for-two among its clubs playing that day. Côte d’Ivoire ended the qualifying round without a club representative after AFAD Plateau, ASEC Mimosas and FC San Pedro were eliminated.
