On October 28 and 29, 2026, the Peace Research Department of the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Foundation held a training workshop in Yamoussoukro for people involved in the city’s sports movement. Requested by the Regional Director of Sports, the initiative aimed to make coaches, athletes, sports association leaders and physical education teachers ambassadors for peace in their clubs and communities.
