Environment: UFR STRM relies on research and citizen action to meet the climate challenge

The Earth Sciences and Mining Resources Training and Research Unit (UFR-STRM) of Félix Houphouët-Boigny University, in partnership with NGO SAPEX, organized on June 5, 2026 in Cocody a day of awareness on environmental challenges, including cleaning, waste management sensitization, sports and community activities. Director Professor Yacouba Coulibaly emphasized that environment is central in all UFR curricula. A new master's degree in environmental safeguarding will be launched in the 2026-2027 academic year.
