El-Rufai's wiretapping case adjourned till October 26

An Abuja Federal High Court, presided by Justice Joyce Abdulmalik, has adjourned the wiretapping case involving former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai until October 26, 2026. El-Rufai filed a no-case submission, arguing that the prosecution failed to establish a prima facie case. DSS counsel Oluwole Aladedoye urged the court to dismiss this submission and require El-Rufai to enter his defense. The former governor faces five amended charges related to the alleged interception of Nuhu Ribadu's telephone communications.
