Lagos pilgrims to begin return journey from Saudi Arabia next week

Pilgrims from Lagos State who performed the 2026 Hajj in Saudi Arabia are set to return to Nigeria next week. The first batch will depart on June 8, 2026, followed by flights on June 10, 11, 12, and 13. About 1,600 pilgrims will be airlifted in line with the schedule approved by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria. Commissioner Olanrewaju Ibrahim Layode reminded pilgrims of baggage regulations (two checked bags of 23kg each and one hand luggage of 8kg) and urged cooperation.
