Akwa Ibom enforces ban on illegal scrap dealers

The Akwa Ibom State Government has initiated a statewide crackdown on unregistered scrap dealers, leading to the shutdown of their operations and the arrest of operators. This enforcement, led by Obong Prince Ikim, aims to protect the environment and regulate scrap operations. Ikim emphasized that all scrap dealers must be duly registered to avoid prosecution.
