BVMAC: CHC and Three Gabonese Companies Receive 143 Million FCFA Support for Their IPO

The Bank of Central African States (BEAC) selected four CEMAC companies to receive $223,780 (about 143 million FCFA) to partially cover their listing costs on the Central African Stock Exchange (BVMAC). The beneficiaries are Cameroon Hotels Corporation (CHC) in Cameroon, and three Gabonese firms: Samba’A Assurances, Gabon Power Company, and Façade Maritime Champ Triomphal. The selection followed a call for expressions of interest launched on March 17, 2026, under the Central African Unified Financial Market Support Project (Pamfuac), funded by the African Development Bank (AfDB). The support only covers certain expenses, such as the Cosumaf visa commission.
