The traditional ruler of Awka Kingdom, Imperial Majesty Obi Austin Ndigwe, stated he is ready to go to jail for the people who crowned him. In a video, he claimed he is the king of Awka, not Anambra, challenging Governor Chukwuma Soludo, who recognized another claimant, Obi Gibson Nwosu, as the only legitimate monarch. Ndigwe emphasized he would not give up his throne and received loud applause from his supporters during his address.
