Strait of Hormuz talks postponed due to Yemen events, says Iran

Iran announced that a planned meeting with Gulf state officials to discuss the Strait of Hormuz has been postponed due to events in Yemen. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei stated that Oman and Iran made a joint decision to manage the situation responsibly. He also mentioned that Saudi Arabia requested the postponement of the meeting, as tensions between Saudi Arabia and Yemen have escalated since July.
