DR Congo: Without Several Key Players and with 6 New Internationals Debuted, Leopards Lose to Host Nation of CAN 2027

DR Congo was defeated 0-2 by Uganda in a friendly match in Johannesburg during a double confrontation. The Congolese team, heavily remixed with many key players absent, saw debut starts for Kambwala, Makengo, Banzuzi, Mavididi, and Pululu. An error by Bertaud led to the first Ugandan goal, and despite Mokio's introduction, Congo conceded a second goal after halftime.
