After weeks of blackout, relief power returns to Bida communities

Residents of several communities in Bida Local Government Area, Niger State, have expressed relief as electricity supply is gradually restored after weeks of blackout that disrupted economic and social activities. Affected areas include Darachita, Bangaie, Low Cost, Kobo Area, Federal Medical Centre Quarters, Polytechnic Layout, and Cabs Layout. The restoration followed the arrival of critical materials from the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC), enabling repairs on the Barrack Feeders network. State Commissioner for Power and Renewable Energy, Suleiman Umar, was commended for engaging with AEDC, and Governor Umar Mohammed Bago's administration is recognized for infrastructure improvement efforts.
