DRC: Government adopts 2027 budget bill amounting to 57.5 trillion FC (24.8 billion USD), up 12% from the 2026 revised budget

The government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo adopted the 2027 budget bill amounting to 57.5 trillion Congolese francs, approximately 24.8 billion USD, an increase of 12% from 2026. Presented by Deputy Prime Minister Adolphe Muzito at the Council of Ministers, this balanced budget includes strengthened domestic revenues and external contributions, including Eurobonds. The constitutional deadline for submitting the bill to the National Assembly is set for September 15.
