South Sudanese whistleblower reported abducted in Kenya

Athorbey Al-Gaddhaffy-Dit, a South Sudanese whistleblower and Kenyan citizen, was abducted by armed, masked individuals in Nairobi on June 9, 2026, according to his wife. He was reportedly taken to Juba, South Sudan's capital. His wife, who requested anonymity, expressed fear for his safety. Kenyan and South Sudanese authorities said they were unaware of the incident.
