Ivory Coast: Spokesperson for Laurent Gbagbo's party under prosecutor's scrutiny

Me Habiba Touré, spokesperson for the People's African Party of Côte d'Ivoire (PPA-CI), is under an arrest warrant for her involvement in protests against President Alassane Ouattara's fourth term. Prosecutor Koné Braman confirmed this information during a press conference, stating that charges have been filed against her. Justin Koné Katinan, the fourth vice-president of the PPA-CI, has also been placed in custody for actions related to the October 2025 presidential campaign.
