Tourism: CNT speeds up implementation of 2026–2030 strategies

The National Tourism Council (CNT) held its second ordinary session of 2026 on November 5 at the Seen Hôtel Abidjan Plateau to review ongoing work and set priorities for 2027. The meeting, chaired by Tourism Minister Siandou Fofana’s chief of staff, Andi Léal Daniel, brought public and private stakeholders together to advance Côte d’Ivoire’s 2026–2030 tourism strategies. Executive Secretary Dr Atta Kouacou Jean-Marie reported the creation of thematic committees, cooperation with tourism organizations in Berlin, Rabat and Marrakech, a digital consultation platform, and an international conference on ecotourism. Côte d’Ivoire aims to become one of Africa’s five most attractive tourism destinations, including by expanding accommodation and leisure capacity.
