DSS arrests suspected gun courier in Kano

Operatives of the Department of State Service (DSS) arrested 30-year-old Muhammad Abubakar in Kano, suspected of being a gun courier. He was transporting four RPG tubes, three AK-47 rifles, and two empty magazines to Funtua, Katsina State. He was caught in Gezawa Local Government Area following an intelligence tip-off. The suspect confessed to collecting the items from a person named Bello at the Maigatari border in Jigawa State and was to be paid N450,000 upon delivery. He expressed regret, claiming it was his first engagement.
