PFIPC scam: Police, DSS, ICPC cleared me of creating fake agency — Gbajabiamila

Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, stated that the Nigeria Police, DSS, and ICPC cleared him of any wrongdoing regarding allegations related to the Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC). He confirmed that investigations found no fault and that the reports are publicly available. Gbajabiamila was accused by Adeniyi Adeyemi, the Director-General of PFIPC, of demanding a 48% kickback from a N27.3 billion grant and paying N400 million through a proxy, which led to Adeyemi's arrest and subsequent release. Gbajabiamila later sued Adeyemi for defamation.
