Yahaya Bello wins APC primary for Kogi West Senatorial seat

Immediate past Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, has emerged winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary for the Kogi West Senatorial seat. Notable results include Ned Nwoko losing with just 3 votes while Okowa garnered 4,462 votes in Ward 9. The court has scheduled May 26, 2026, for judgment on the eligibility of former President Goodluck Jonathan to contest in 2027.
