FG activates task force over diphtheria outbreak in Katsina, Kano

The Federal Government has activated an emergency task force to contain a diphtheria outbreak affecting children in Katsina and Kano states. 500,000 doses of vaccines have been deployed, and measures are underway to expand access to treatment. The task force, co-chaired by the NCDC Director-General, includes representatives from various health agencies and international partners.
