Four people were killed on Thursday, June 4, in a shooting attributed to CODECO militiamen in the village of Tchelo, Djugu territory. Two FARDC soldiers were wounded in an attack by militiamen of the Convention for the Popular Revolution (CRP) at Iga-Barrière. The FARDC discovered a CRP weapons cache near Nizi, seizing eight AK-47 rifles, a light machine gun, and ammunition. Local actors urge CODECO and the CRP to honor their peace commitments.
