Erik ten Hag advises Manchester United on Michael Carrick after poor results

Manchester United have failed to win any of their last six matches in all competitions, losing three, and sit 13th in the league. Erik ten Hag says Michael Carrick should not be sacked, arguing that the club needs a clear strategy, strong structures and time. He praised Carrick’s coaching at Middlesbrough and last season, as well as the quality of his coaching staff. Carrick signed a two-year deal in May after helping United recover during his interim spell following Ruben Amorim’s departure.
