Ogun Govt intensifies campaign to tackle illiteracy, out-of-school menace

The Ogun State government, led by Dapo Abiodun, through the Agency for Mass and Lifelong Education, has conducted awareness campaigns in markets and bus parks in Remo North, Yewa North, and Ijebu-East to promote adult literacy and address the issue of out-of-school children. Agency director Abosede Odulesi urged those who missed formal schooling to take advantage of free literacy and vocational training, emphasizing education as a tool for personal and socio-economic development. Beneficiaries reported they have learned to read, write, and speak publicly thanks to the free training and materials provided at no cost.
