In Kalemie, the mayor of Lukuga disapproves the motion of no confidence against him

The mayor of Lukuga, Joseph Zedi, expressed his disagreement with the motion of no confidence against him, calling it a violation of the Interior Minister's circular. He rejected allegations of insecurity and unsanitary conditions, stating that these issues do not fall under his jurisdiction. Jean Kasongo, one of his representatives, also defended the mayor by stating that cleaning operations are regularly organized in the commune.
