2027: Makinde Is the Most Competent Presidential Candidate, Daura Says

Alhaji Lawal Daura, the Allied People’s Movement (APM) vice-presidential candidate, called Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde the most competent and credible candidate for Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election. Speaking Saturday at the APM campaign headquarters in Abuja, Daura cited Makinde’s business and public-service record and his “Reset Nigeria” vision. He described their proposed administration as an inclusive four-year transitional government aimed at overhauling the economy, education and security. Northern Patriotic Front President Ali Abacha pledged northern political stakeholders’ support for the APM ticket.
