Lagos Seals Church in Surulere Over Noise Pollution

The Lagos State Government has shut down the All Christians Gathering Ministry at No. 1, Ishola Street, in Surulere after a resident complained about noise. Environment and Water Resources Commissioner Tokunbo Wahab said an investigation found that the church violated environmental regulations and caused a nuisance for neighbours. The facility will remain closed until further notice. Wahab warned that religious institutions and businesses must comply with environmental standards and that enforcement would continue without exception.
