United States cements its Pacific ties with USD 150 million cheque at the Islands Forum

On September 1, at the Pacific Islands Forum Partners Dialogue in Palau, Deputy Secretary Christopher Landau announced over USD 150 million in U.S. support for Pacific Islands. This funding aims to enhance energy security and develop critical infrastructure, including a new hospital in Palau and port upgrades in Tonga.
