Parliamentary Resumption: Regulated Access to the Palace of the People Amid Coalition C64 Protests

The Congolese National Assembly and Senate resume their work on September 15, 2026, coinciding with the inaugural plenary session of the ordinary session. Due to an opposition protest in Kinshasa, strict security measures have been implemented for access to the Palace of the People. Deputies must enter through a specific door and present their identification card, while administrative staff must arrive before 9 AM.
