AA and BSM ordered to refund learner drivers for hidden fees

AA and BSM driving schools are required to refund over 80,000 customers for failing to disclose the total price of lessons during online bookings. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) also fined them £4.2 million for breaking consumer law. Customers will receive an average payout of around £9 each, after the CMA found that mandatory booking fees were only shown at checkout.
