Abidjan: African experts in training for the certification of their airport platforms

The Union of Airport Managers of Central and West Africa (UGAACO) and the ICAO Regional Office are organizing a training from June 1-5, 2026 in Abidjan on aerodrome certification for experts from nine West and Central African countries. The training is led by Prisca Nkolo, an AGA expert. Deputy Director General Rodrigue Tah opened the session, noting that airport certification is a driver for traffic growth. Mme Binéta Ba emphasized that the training targets senior managers to strengthen capacities and promote operational excellence.
