Abidjan: Kalil Konaté presents the industrialization strategy of 'Grande Côte d'Ivoire' at CESEC

Minister of Trade, Industry and Crafts Kalil Konaté presented on June 11, 2026 at CESEC the industrial strategy of 'Grande Côte d'Ivoire'. He announced that 46% of cocoa is locally processed, with a target of 70% by 2030, and the creation of 14 special economic zones and industrial zones in all 31 regions. The industry's share of GDP, currently 22.7%, is expected to reach 30-32% in five years through reforms to attract investors.
