Abong-Mbang: A Merchant Murdered and Buried in the Bush

Jean Claude Nguepi, a merchant from Abong-Mbang, was found dead on April 12, 2026, buried in the bush near the village of Mboumo. He had disappeared on April 1 after leaving home to go to Covagro Oboul. Investigators determined that he was lured into an ambush and shot by individuals known to security services. The suspects have been arrested and are expected to be brought to justice.
