The Adamawa State Government has inaugurated a committee of technocrats to select 5,000 qualified candidates from about 18,000 applicants for teaching positions. The committee, chaired by Aisha Abubakar Umar, includes representatives from the Ministry of Education, PPSMB, SUBEB, Nigeria Union of Teachers, State Civil Service Commission, and the Office of the Head of Service. Education Commissioner Umar Garba Pella emphasized the importance of integrity and fairness in the recruitment process.
