ADC Crisis: We didn't issue Access Code to Nafiu Gombe faction – INEC

Nigeria's Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) denied issuing an access code to the Nafiu Gombe faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), stating that the code was granted exclusively to the Sen. David Mark-led leadership. INEC Commissioner Mohammed Kudu Haruna said the Mark faction had already submitted over 400 candidate names before a Court of Appeal ruling. Gombe had claimed to have uploaded candidates for the 2027 presidential and National Assembly elections, but INEC accused his group of using forged documents.
