ADC: David Mark’s lawyer lauds INEC for swift response to Supreme Court ruling

Jibrin Okutepa, lead counsel for David Mark, praised INEC for proactively restoring the leadership status of the ADC on its portal following a Supreme Court ruling. The court instructed Mark to return to the Federal High Court to resolve leadership conflicts within the ADC. The Supreme Court annulled a Court of Appeal directive that had ordered the maintenance of the status quo, stating it exceeded its jurisdiction. Okutepa emphasized that INEC acted appropriately by adhering to the Supreme Court's ruling without waiting for formal service of the judgment.
