Labour declares war on exploitation, accuses govt, employers of undermining workers' rights

During the 2026 May Day celebration, the labor movement condemned a growing assault on workers' rights, highlighting increasing insecurity and poverty. The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) accused both the government and private sector employers of failing to implement the 2024 National Minimum Wage Act.
