AES: Niger and Burkina Faso reaffirm their cooperation in the face of security challenges

On April 7, 2026, Nigerien President General Abdourahamane Tiani met with Burkina Faso Ambassador Abdou Diallo in Niamey. The discussions focused on bilateral cooperation and the need for close coordination between the two countries in response to security threats in the Sahel region.
