Ndeya Beauty Case: Merchant Sent to Prison for 27 Million FCFA

Merchant Ndeye Fatou Diatta, known as 'Ndeya Beauty', has been placed under provisional detention by the public prosecutor near the Dakar Court for breach of trust involving 27 million FCFA. Eight civil parties have been partially reimbursed, while two others have withdrawn their claims. The case stems from several complaints related to an alleged misappropriated tontine, leading to her arrest and provisional detention. She is scheduled to appear before the Dakar court of immediate appearances this Monday.
