Afreximbank launches $10bn crisis support for Africa, Caribbean

The African Export-Import Bank has approved a $10 billion Gulf Crisis Response Programme to assist African and Caribbean economies in countering economic shocks from the Middle East conflict. The program aims to support essential imports and provide liquidity to vulnerable member states. It also seeks to build long-term economic resilience by accelerating the completion of critical infrastructure projects delayed by the conflict.
