Africa targets $4tr from wealthy class to fund new energy sources

Business leaders across Africa are calling for the release of $4.4 trillion in institutional and high net worth capital to invest in the continent's vast natural gas reserves. Significant discoveries include one trillion cubic feet in Angola and 50 million cubic feet per day in Egypt's Nile Delta. However, inadequate capital has delayed exploration and commercialization, hindering the continent's energy sovereignty.
