Africa’s LA 2028 Qualifying Draw Set for April 29 in Cairo

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) will hold the qualifying draw for the women's football tournament at the 2028 Olympics tomorrow in Cairo, with 35 national teams participating. Despite the women's tournament expanding to 16 teams, Africa still only has two qualification spots, meaning teams will have to navigate five knockout rounds. The tournament will take place from July 10 to 29, 2028.
