After N20m, rice, oil ransom, terrorists hold on to abducted Kwara church worshippers

Residents of Omugo community in Kwara State are worried as eight worshippers of ECWA church, abducted 53 days ago, have not been released. Despite the payment of a N20 million ransom along with a bag of rice and a keg of groundnut oil, the terrorists continue to hold the victims. Among those abducted are the pastor's wife and elderly individuals, who were taken during a Sunday service on March 22, 2026.
