After Seizures in Garoua, Cicam Negotiates a Moratorium with CNPS on a Social Debt of 4.5 Billion FCFA

According to a Cicam official, the CNPS sealed several of the company's facilities in Garoua on July 8, 2026, due to unpaid social contributions of nearly 4.5 billion FCFA. Cicam's management is negotiating a new repayment schedule with the CNPS and plans an initial payment to show good faith, before requesting the renewal of the previous moratorium.
