Two weeks after the abduction of about fifty Nigerians, including school pupils and teachers, by a faction of Boko Haram in the communities of Ahoro-Esinele and Yawota, the situation remains critical. Two of the hostages, Joel Adesiyan and Michael Oyedokun, have died, one during a rescue attempt and the other beheaded by the terrorists.
