Agric Minister headlines Vanguard Economic Discourse

Sen. Abubakar Kyari, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, will chair the 2026 edition of the Vanguard Economic Discourse on April 22, 2026, at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event will focus on Nigeria's agricultural value chain and food security, themed 'Food Security and Socio-economic Stability: Options for Nigeria’s Agriculture Sector Rebound'. Dr. Hussein Gadain, UN FAO Resident Representative in Nigeria, will be the keynote speaker, and a panel of experts from the agricultural sector will participate in the discussions.
