Kinshasa: City Hall and the Task Force Harmonize Actions for the Capital's Sanitation

Three months after the establishment of a presidential Task Force for the sanitation of Kinshasa, a working meeting took place on August 29, 2026, between this structure and municipal authorities. Lieutenant General Jean-Pierre Kasongo Kabwik emphasized the importance of harmonizing actions and defining a framework for collaboration to combat the chaotic occupation of public spaces. Provincial Environment Minister Léon Mulumba acknowledged that collaboration mechanisms had not been clearly established before the Task Force's mission began.
