Air India Flight 171 crash: Grieving families wait for justice a year later

On June 12, 2025, Air India Flight 171 bound for London crashed shortly after takeoff in Ahmedabad, killing 259 people, including 18 on the ground. Sita Patni, mother of one victim, was severely burned trying to save her 14-year-old son Aakash, whose body was found 20 days later. A year on, families are still waiting for answers and justice.
