Air Transport: Abidjan Expands Its Wings to Brazil, Angola, and Oman

On April 9, 2026, State Minister Nialé Kaba secured the ratification of three air service agreements with Brazil, Angola, and Oman, aiming to transform Félix Houphouët-Boigny Airport into a global air hub. These agreements will strengthen ties with South America, Southern Africa, and the Gulf, while facilitating access to Asian markets. The government anticipates an increase in tourism, foreign investments, and improved competitiveness of Ivorian exports.
