Airtime lending: Why we suspended DEON Rules – FCCPC

The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) suspended the implementation of the DEON Regulations 2025 after a Federal High Court order obtained by the Wireless Application Service Providers Association of Nigeria (WASPAN). The Association of Licensed Telecommunications Operators of Nigeria (ALTON) welcomed the decision, calling it a step toward regulatory certainty and investor confidence.
