AKA murder case triggered tense stand-off between top cops, says Sibiya

Deputy National Commissioner Shadrack Sibiya attributed the tensions with KwaZulu-Natal police commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi to the arrest of individuals involved in the murder of rapper Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes and his friend Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane. He explained that disagreements arose after a communication with Mkhwanazi's deputy, and the tensions were resolved after a meeting with senior officials.
