Alaafin denies rift with Makinde, Olubadan

The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Akeem Owoade, dismissed reports suggesting a rift with Seyi Makinde and the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja. He stated that his relationship with the Oyo State Government is cordial and emphasized his preference for resolving concerns through direct communication. Oba Owoade also clarified a misunderstanding regarding a handshake incident with the Olubadan, which has since been resolved. He expressed gratitude to the media for their continued engagement.
